Migrate QlikView, BusinessObjects, Cognos or SAS.Stop paying for every reader.

Reports, dashboards, models and programs from Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, BusinessObjects, Cognos, MicroStrategy or SAS: we move them to the dashboard tool you choose, to your data platform or to a custom-built dashboard, with no licence for every person who views it. The same figures, compared number by number.

Dashboard and BI migration:the clock and the bill

Your data and your indicators are not migrated: they stay, and they are the reference. What is migrated is what calculates and draws the reports: models, metrics, scripts, reports and programs. Two clear clocks and a bill that grows with every person who looks at a report.

End of support

QlikView and BusinessObjects in 2027; SAS 9.4 in 2028

  • QlikView: end 2027. Qlik takes it to Qlik Sense; it can also go to Power BI, to Tableau or to a custom dashboard.
  • SAP BusinessObjects: end 2027. SAP is retiring it; the universes become the model of your data platform.
  • SAS 9.4: end 2028. The programs go to SQL on your data platform or to own Python. SAS is never a destination.
  • Power BI, Tableau, Qlik Sense, Cognos and MicroStrategy do not expire: their clock is the licence renewal.

What you pay

One licence for every person who looks at a report

  • Per-reader licence: Pro in Power BI, Explorer and Viewer in Tableau, named users in Qlik, Cognos and MicroStrategy. The more people consult, the more you pay.
  • SAS licences per processor or per user, for programs that are mostly SQL and calculation.
  • Several tools at once: the usual one, the new one and the one a subsidiary brought, each with its own model and contract.

What staysand what goes

Your figures stay: the data and the indicators. They are the reference for parity: each new report is compared with today’s, number by number.

What calculates and draws goes: semantic models and DAX measures, published data sources and LOD calculations, load scripts and QVDs, universes, Framework Manager, metrics and attributes, SAS programs, and the reports, dashboards, workbooks, documents and dossiers.

We neither implement your BI tool nor replace it with ours: you choose the destination, and it can be the one you already have.

Where each report ends up:three destinations, you choose

Current destinations only: no QlikView, no BusinessObjects, no Cognos, no MicroStrategy, no SAS.

Another dashboard tool

Power BI, Tableau or Qlik Sense

If you want to stay with a tool: from QlikView to Qlik Sense, from BusinessObjects or Cognos to Power BI, from Tableau to Power BI or the other way round. Reports are rebuilt in the target tool and compared with today’s.

Your data platform

Databricks, Snowflake or Microsoft Fabric

Metrics and rules live where the data is, not in each tool: any tool reads them the same way. It is the destination for models, universes, load scripts and SAS programs.

Custom dashboard

Own code, no per-reader licence

A custom dashboard on your data platform: whoever needs to see it sees it, without paying a seat for each person. And the SAS programs go to own Python.

How to migrate dashboardsin four steps, number by number

  1. 1Inventory of reports and modelsWith read-only access: reports, dashboards, models, measures, scripts and programs. What gets opened, who opens it and which reports are copies of others.
  2. 2It stays, it goes or it is switched offEach report with its verdict and its destination. What nobody opens is not migrated: it is switched off. Metrics repeated in ten reports become a single one, on the data platform.
  3. 3Rebuild with your orchestrated AIDevelopment instances that rebuild, test and document each report and each measure with the same method. Your team decides and validates.
  4. 4Cut-over with measured parityEach new report is compared with the old one number by number, on your real data. The tool is retired when the last report matches.

The rules

  • The data and the indicators stay
  • What nobody opens is not migrated
  • Report by report, no single cut-over
  • You choose the destination

Migrating QlikViewto Qlik Sense, Power BI or Tableau

Your data and your indicators stay. Nothing from QlikView: its support is ending.

What goes out

  • QlikView documents → Qlik Sense, from the same vendor, or another tool; or a custom dashboard
  • Load script and QVDs → loading moves to the data platform; QVDs are no longer needed

End 2027

Migrating SAP BusinessObjectsuniverses and reports out of BO

Your data and your indicators stay. Nothing from BusinessObjects: SAP is retiring it.

What goes out

  • Universes → they become the model of your data platform
  • Web Intelligence and Crystal reports → Power BI, Tableau or Qlik Sense; or a custom dashboard

End 2028SAS 9.4

Migrating SASprograms to SQL or to Python, with no SAS licence

Your data and the results of your processes and models stay. Nothing from SAS 9.4 or SAS Viya: SAS is never a destination.

What goes out

  • SAS programs and processes, Viya models and flows → SQL, notebooks and processes on your data platform; or own Python
  • Reports and Visual Analytics → Power BI, Tableau or Qlik Sense; or a custom dashboard

Pro licence per reader

Migrating Power BImeasures to the platform, reports wherever you choose

Your data and your indicators stay, compared number by number. The Pro licence for every reader goes away.

What goes out

  • Semantic model and DAX measures → the data platform, with the same figures
  • Reports and dashboards → Tableau or Qlik Sense; or a custom dashboard

Explorer and Viewer

Migrating TableauLOD calculations to the platform, workbooks wherever you choose

Your data and your indicators stay, compared number by number. The Explorer and Viewer licence goes away.

What goes out

  • Published data sources and LOD calculations → the data platform, with the same figures
  • Workbooks and dashboards → Power BI or Qlik Sense; or a custom dashboard

Qlik Sense · Cognos · MicroStrategy

Migrating Qlik Sense, Cognos or MicroStrategymodels and metrics to the platform, reports wherever you choose

Your data and your indicators stay, compared number by number. It works to change tool or to keep just one.

What goes out

  • Load script and QVDs, Framework Manager model, metrics and attributes → the data platform, with the same figures
  • Apps and Set Analysis, reports and data modules, dossiers → Power BI, Tableau or Qlik Sense; or a custom dashboard

Frequently asked questions about Dashboards and analytics

What happens to QlikView when its support ends in 2027?

QlikView documents go to Qlik Sense, from the same vendor, to Power BI, to Tableau or to a custom dashboard; the load script moves to your data platform and QVDs are no longer needed. Your data and your indicators stay and are compared number by number.

Can BusinessObjects be migrated to Power BI?

Yes. The universes become the model of your data platform and the Web Intelligence and Crystal reports are rebuilt in Power BI, Tableau or Qlik Sense, or in a custom dashboard. SAP is retiring BusinessObjects in 2027.

Where are SAS programs migrated to?

To SQL and processes on your data platform (Databricks, Snowflake or Fabric) or to own Python, with no SAS licence. SAS 9.4 support ends in 2028 and SAS is never a destination.

How do I stop paying a licence for every person who looks at a report?

With a custom dashboard in own code on your data platform: whoever needs to see it sees it, with no seat per reader. If you prefer to stay with a tool, the metrics move to the data platform and any tool reads them the same way.

How many people pay for a licencejust to look at a report?

In a demo we show you the whole journey on a sample set of reports: the inventory, what stays, what goes, where it ends up and how it is compared number by number. So that you can see what it would look like with yours.
