Occupational Risk Prevention Policy
This is a translation for information purposes. In case of discrepancy, the Spanish version prevails.
ELTERNATIVA OPEN CONSULTING, S.L. (hereinafter, EOC) adopts as a principle of its business philosophy that productivity stems from the quality of the service provided, and that quality is only possible if workers carry out their activity in full conditions of safety and health. Achieving the safety and health conditions necessary for the normal activity of companies has its reference in the regulatory framework on occupational risk prevention, and that framework is the starting point of preventive action.
The scope is defined below:
Once the safety standards required for all positions in the organisation have been defined, and the aspects of preventive activity have been integrated into all the actions and decisions taken by the company, by assigning functions and responsibilities at all levels of the organisation, EOC undertakes the following commitments:
- To carry out its activities treating the safety and health of people as essential values.
- To eliminate hazards and reduce risks for the occupational health and safety system, achieving a safe working environment.
- Management will keep operational, and monitor, the prevention plans and programmes needed to ensure that the company's actions comply with the applicable law on occupational health and safety, as well as with any additional requirements it has taken on as its own.
- To advance in the continuous improvement of occupational health and safety management, as well as in preventing harm and deterioration of health.
- To foster a preventive culture at all levels of the organisation.
- To train and inform workers about the risks inherent to their work and the measures to be taken to prevent them properly.
- To allocate the necessary resources and plan their use appropriately in order to meet the objectives set.
- To consult and involve workers and their representatives in this matter.
Monitoring the validity of the preventive system, by planning activities and implementing them, taking into account technical, organisational, environmental, social and any other aspects that influence working conditions, is an essential tool for continuous improvement in adapting the system to the evolution of our own organisation.
EOC Management recognises that achieving these commitments requires the awareness and participation of staff, and therefore disseminates this Occupational Risk Prevention Policy Statement to all personnel and makes it available to interested parties.
